HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
As an Electrical Schematics Engineer (Signaling), you will be responsible for updating, enhancing, and integrating electrical components and systems within existing train schematics and signaling wayside drawings. This role oversees the seamless incorporation of legacy systems with the new Stadler NOVA PRO CBTC signaling technology, ensuring cohesive and reliable system integration throughout the upgrade process.
Key Activities
• Drawing the electrical schematic sets and wiring documents according to DIN EN 15380 with the E3 program into new or existing schematics
• Conceptual design and layout of cable routes, separation points and connector concepts
• Close collaboration with other disciplines (signaling systems engineering, electrical installation planning, electrical engineering)
• Preparation and control of production documentation
(terminal diagrams, parts lists, wiring tables, wiring harness drawings, bill of materials)
• Maintenance and extension of the E3 article database
• Support the control cabinet pre-assembly and the final assembly on both the vehicles and wayside installation
• Change management of production documents
QUALIFICATIONS
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (Engineer) or alternatively relevant education (Technician)• 3-5 years of relevant experience with electrical schematics'
• Experience with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan)
• Experience in electrical / mechanical CAD design advantageous (e.g. Catia V5)
• Experience with PLM system and ECN system (e.g. SmarTeam)
• Team player with a high sense of responsibility and initiative
• High degree of social competence, accuracy and adherence to deadlines in an international environment
• Business fluent in English, basic German language skills desirable
• Willingness to travel in the US or for training purposes between the US and Europe
