How you can make an impact
- Strategic and operational management of Service Division sales worldwide, reporting directly to the EVP of the Service Division.
- Successfully winning tenders: You will manage national and international tenders in the rail transportation sector and develop solutions to successfully acquire long-term service contracts, refits and spare parts business.
- Team leadership: You lead and motivate teams worldwide (30+ people) to achieve our ambitious sales targets.
- Business relationship: You develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with operators and customers.
- Stakeholder management: You and your team will work with our Engineering and Production teams worldwide to ensure a seamless handover from Sales into Service Delivery.
- Brand Ambassador: You will form a strong understanding of the Stadler product catalogue and act as an ambassador to the Stadler brand in the Rail industry.
- Ability to travel: You will travel about 20-40%, mainly within Europe, to support international customers and projects.
How you will contribute
- A master's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field suitable for this role
- Several years of experience in a customer-facing role in sales with a verifiable track record of success or revenue growth accomplishments, in the rail vehicle industry or in the after-sales area of complex technical systems.
- Strong experience in dealing with large tenders and in contract management for full-service and refit projects.
- Positive, success-driven work environment
- Competence to efficiently manage and lead international teams.
- Fluent in German and English, other languages an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and intercultural skills and ability to travel (20-40%).
