Understanding customers' expectations through dialogue, reading of RFIs and RFPs as well as describing matching maintenance solutions for railway rolling stock
Developing bid documentation with our RAM engineering and sales team
Reviewing of lifecycle cost (LCC) calculations in cooperation with the estimators
Thinking out of the box to identify technical and commercial optimization potential
Developing of new service solutions and concepts with focus on innovations such as predictive maintenance
Improving of current service solutions by adapting the standard solution descriptions, methods and tools
Frequent collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
Presenting technical aspects of the offering, including concepts such as reliability centred maintenance towards the customer
Technical background as a mechanical or electrical engineer with relevant university degree, further training in business administration or economics
Several years of professional experience in the rail industry and experience in developing technical bid documentation are a plus
Interest in railway and rolling stock
Knowledge of the required RAM and LCC processes
Willingness to travel (approx. 10–20%)
Strong analytic skills for complex projects
Goal-oriented, structured, entrepreneurial, dynamic and stress-resistant personality with a strong sense of loyalty
Very good command of German and English, any further language is a plus
