Your tasks

  • Implements Division SRS directives
  • Provides leadership, oversight, and ensures contract compliance
  • Creates and updates all system training curriculum and ensures compliance with FRA/State/local requirements, with the goal of zero injuries.
  • Ensure maintenance of written records, correspondences, and documentation related to the contract
  • Serve as the primary contact between the customer and SRS. Respond to communications and decision-making related to the administration and delivery of the contract.
  • Oversee operational safety and performance, efficient execution of the needs of operations, development of systems, procedures and policies, compliance with all contract deliverables and contractual obligations,
  • Ensure customer service and passenger satisfaction
  • Ensure all members of the SRS team work in full cooperation with customer counterparts throughout the contract to effectively and efficiently provide rail service.
  • Promote focus on safety, quality, customer service, performance, regional cost efficiencies, innovation, and state of good repair
  • Develop plans, procedures, licenses, permits, radio and communication equipment programming, and all required mobilization activities required to provide maintenance services.
  • Maintain and execute a Critical Path Method Schedule (CPM) for all mobilization activities that includes, at a minimum, all key activities and their interrelationships.
  • FRA submittals, timeframes for approval of all plans and vendor and Authority training of all personnel

Your profile

  • 10+ years in rail vehicle maintenance management including responsibilities in budgeting, scheduling, change order implementation, and contract management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, STEM or relevant field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in motivating and influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time
  • This is not a remote position
