Your tasks

The Project Planner is responsible for the execution plan for a large project and member of the Project Core Team.

As a Project Planner, you have the following accountabilities and mandates:

  • Responsible for the planning of the upcoming activities within the project schedule in close cooperation with the other Project Core Team members
  • Evaluates actual progress within the project and defines and implements improvement measures with the Core Team, where needed.
  • Updates the schedule with the different functions and Project Management
  • Challenges the functions and pro-actively looks for mitigation actions to avoid delays
  • Performing critical path analysis and evaluation of scenarios
  • Review of the Project Schedule as a member of the Project Core Team

Your profile

  • Higher education and experience in complex industrial projects, ideally in the railway industry
  • Rough understanding of railway or other large industrial projects considered an asset
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in large projects
  • In-depth knowledge in scheduling methodology and tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera or similar tools)
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Business-Fluency in English mandatory, additional languages, particularly Swedish and German are an asset
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for solutions
  • Proactive mindset to plan ahead and avoid problems before they occur
  • Flexible and well structured, yet able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel, working out of Tillberga / Västerås
