Your tasks

The Project Manager Production and Commissioning takes responsibility for all Production and Commissioning activities and teams (team size approx.120).

As a Project Manager Production and Commissioning, you have the following accountabilities and mandates:

  • Manages the Team Leads for Production, Production Support, Commissioning and Retrofits Execution
  • Responsible for planning and execution of the production / commissioning scope within schedule, quality and budget
  • Participation in Customer Milestone Reviews
  • Ensures workplace safety in line with company policies and guidelines
  • Continuous Improvements (TPT, quality, material and warranty costs)
  • Manages Cross-Functional Activities, such as Implementation of Changes / Retrofits
  • Represents the function within the Project Core Team and should also work in close cooperation with the other Project Core Team members to ensure full coordination
  • Supports in work package definition, budgeting and effort estimation of change request

Your profile

  • Higher education and experience of at least 5 years leadership in complex industrial projects, ideally in the railway industry
  • Proven leadership experience in large complex production projects
  • Business-Fluency in English and Swedish mandatory, additional languages preferred
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for solutions
  • Proactive mindset to plan ahead and avoid problems before they occur
  • Flexible and well structured, yet able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel, working out of Tillberga / Västerås
