What We Will Offer You In Return:

• £50,000.00 - £66,000.00 per annum (depending on experience)

Role Overview:

As a Technical Training Manager you will support the business in providing comprehensive competence management, training and development throughout the Engineering organisation. Ensuring knowledge and skills are developed and delivered to support strategic objectives, meet statutory standards; and client contractual requirements of Engineering and production. Assisting to provide a platform for Stadler to grow across the UK.

Experience:

• Proven extensive experience in a large railway and/or engineering environment with a focus on coaching mentoring, training and competence management.
• Good understanding of the software systems utilised on new fleets.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements for competence management in a safety critical environment.
• Experience of developing, delivering and maintaining a robust competence management system in a technical environment.
• Extensive experience of identifying and implementing continual improvements to training and assessments.
• Experience of identifying and implementing learning technologies to improve effectiveness and reduce impact upon a production environment.
• An in depth knowledge of new fleet systems and software utilised across the new fleets.
• Attainment of HNC in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferably Electrical/Electronic bias), supporting underpinning knowledge and understanding.
• Desirable to have a formal Training Qualification of at least Level 3 in Training and Education, CIPD Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent.
• Desirable to have Level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent.
• Desirable to have attained a professional qualification relating to training and people management to at least degree or equivalent (Level 5)
