Your tasks

As a Warranty Manager, you will oversee all warranty related activities within our organization for specific projects. You will be responsible for managing warranty claims, developing and optimizing warranty procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing customer relations. Profound cost awareness and managing budgets in the most efficient way are key factors for the success of the Warranty Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with customers
• Serve as contact person for customers and suppliers
• Interface between the external sites, customers, and technical department
• Ensure a high fleet, infrastructure, and material availability at external sites (logistics, coordination, etc.) for the benefit of the route and vehicle operators
• Support project management and employees at external locations to ensure high availability and reliability of Stadler Products and Services at customer's site
• Coordinate any upgrade/modification on site
• Collaborate with customers, engineering, and suppliers for product improvement
• On-site readiness within 48 hours to coordinate action

Your profile

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Operation Management, or a related field
• Experience in Project Management, required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warranty or customer service management role, preferably within the industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team (international teams is a plus)
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost optimization
• Experience in planning and coordination of tasks for multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with ERP systems, preferred
• Residence in greater Boston area, preferred
