Stadler Rail Service UK Limited (SRS UK) is a subsidiary of Stadler, Switzerland. SRS UK provides a train maintenance service for a growing number of clients in the UK. Train Presentation Team Leader

Your tasks

•Understand and undertake interior and exterior train presentation activities in accordance with documented procedures and processes
•Act as Designated Person (DP) when required
•Provide leadership and coaching of a customer facing asset function
•Identify and coach short term and long term replacements (Succession Planning) for roles within the business
•Understanding and experience with production techniques and process relating to Train Presentation
•Understand reports, recommendations, investigations that may have impact to the safe and cost effective production operation and client operation
•Participate in discussions with key stakeholders
•Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver production best practice methodologies, with human resource plans developed
•Understand and interpret legislation and standards relating to people & product health and safety and Train Presentation production matters
•Demonstrate a passion for continual improvement, people development, operational excellence and end user experience.
•Embed a zero harm culture within Train Presentation function with people and product safety considerations at front of mind for everyone
•Identify and enable effective cross team organisation working relationships
•Awareness of performance regime to ensure targets are achieved
•Support the development and implementation of standards and procedures in accordance with legal, legislative and moral obligations of Stadler
•Oversee reporting for example on safety failures and incidents
•Responsible for adhering to safety / quality systems and support the implementation thereof
•Monitor the agreements made with the customer and suppliers
•Initiate and where authorised implement action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformances (non-compliance), rail safety, HSQ&E incidents, process deficiencies or system deficiencies
Your profile

• Proven experience in a transport service provision environment with a focus on production, through-life support
• Proven experience of leading and coaching a customer facing asset function
•Knowledge and experience in conducting and leading investigations
•Knowledge and understanding of the railway system
•Knowledge, experience and understanding of risk and safety in the workplace, within a transport environment and from a production perspective
•Good level of IT skill including Microsoft packages
•Full UK Manual Driving License
