What We Will Offer You In Return

• Salary - £29,640.01, plus 20% shift allowance.
• 36-hour working week – A week refers to 7 days for rostering purposes, inclusive of rest days.

Role Overview

• To carry out all cleaning activities on Stadler rolling stock fleet and other vehicles which Stadler may be contracted to clean.
• Ensure that appropriate procedures and standards for carriage cleaning (in particular those required under the CURSER / TARA regime) are maintained and adhered to at all time to work with the team leader to ensure all vehicles go back into service to the required standard for passenger travel.
• To complete interior cleans, exterior cleans, de-seats, re-seats, flea spraying, graffiti removal, delivery of stores and any other reasonable request by the team leader.
• To ensure that at all cleaning locations, exterior and interior carriage cleaning standards of the Stadler rolling stock fleet are maintained in accordance with contractual targets.
• You have a responsibility for fire, fire prevention and security by making him/herself aware of any evacuation plan and reporting suspicious objects to his/her superior.
• You should be aware of the names of those trained in First Aid. Local arrangements are detailed in the Local Safety Policy Statements and exhibited on signing on point notice boards.
• Clean and presentable vehicles which meet cleanliness standards.
• Achieve weekly cleaning targets for exterior washing and PHCs.
• Review, with Manager, cleaning methods, standards and materials to ensure that high standards of cleaning are maintained and improved.

Essential
• Good team working skills
• High level of literacy
• Excellent understanding of COSHH and its relevance within the role.
• A natural pride in your work and an eye for detail
• The ability to understand and follow instructions
• The flexibility to work across a number of locations and shift patterns (including evenings and weekends).

Desirable
• Excellent understanding of COSHH and its relevance within the role.
• To hold a full driving licence.
