Your tasks

  • Process calibrations according to internal guidelines, instructions from supervisors, and QEHS.
  • Ensure compliance and control of all calibrated tools at STAUS.
  • Ensure compliance of new articles requiring calibration when entered into the PMM system.
  • Organize all internal and external calibrations ensuring STAUS maintains QEHS guidelines.
  • Perform internal calibrations as required.
  • Store calibration documentation according to company procedures.
  • Schedule/reschedule calibrations as necessary to maintain steady flow of equipment, eliminating spikes in the quantity of tools that need processed daily.
  • Communicate locally and with remote locations in the USA to ensure on time calibrations.
  • Maintain calibrated tools and storage locations using ToolLog, PMM, and Fastenal (Lockers) programs.
  • Maintain an overview of ToolLog, PMM, tools, tool sets, consumables, and all tool maintenance schedules.
  • Manage the calibration quarantine area. Ensure tools with damage, insufficient quality, or failed and expired calibrations are secure

Your profile

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (Mechanical/Electrical fabrication or assembly).
  • Knowledge of hand and powered mechanical/fabrication tools.
  • Knowledge of hand and powered electrical tools.
  • Ability to understand and execute tool repairs in a safe an effective manner.
  • Ability to perform test crimps for destructive testing.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic MS Office
  • Advanced user ToolLog (Asset Management Software)
  • Advanced user PMM (Calibration Monitoring Software)
  • Advanced user Fastenal (Asset Management Software – Lockers)
  • Lost and damaged tool procedures / Inventory Process
