HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Final Assembly Foreman, you are responsible for overseeing the final assembly process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed on schedule. Guide and participate in the precision installation of mechanical and structural fixtures tailored for passenger trains.
Key Activities
- Train and mentor assembly team members to ensure they are following proper procedures and techniques
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are free of defects
- Implement strategies to improve assembly processes and increase efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure necessary materials are available for production
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all assembly team members
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to identify and resolve production issues
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on production progress and performance
- Attend meetings with management to discuss production goals and strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
