Your tasks

As a Design Manager you are responsible for leading the design and engineering efforts for our advanced rail signaling projects. Your primary focus will be to manage the design team responsible for developing innovative, reliable, and efficient signaling solutions, including CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the design team responsible for developing CBTC, SCADA, and other signaling systems
• Serve as the primary technical liaison
• Coordinate system design and scoping, including performance requirements, specifications, and subsystem integration
• Develop and implement design strategies, processes, and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to establish design requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria and overseeing integration to meet operational goals
• Oversee the design process from concept development through detailed design, testing, and final delivery
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, with a focus on rail signaling systems
• Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in the rail signaling industry
• In-depth knowledge of CBTC, SCADA, and other rail signaling technologies, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations
• Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate design activities across multiple projects and teams
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex design challenges.
