As an International Logistics Specialist, you will maintain logistic standards efficiently, while holding Stadler's high quality standards. International Logistics Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Classify incoming shipments to facilitate customs clearance / ensure import compliance
  • Act as contact person for all customs related questions (Census Warnings, Lacey Act, TSCA etc.)
  • Coordinate and consolidate shipments through international logistics partners
  • Monitor high priority shipments and keep stakeholders (Production, Procurement, Expeditors, and Warehouse informed)
  • Process return and export shipments, ensuring 100% compliance
  • Audit shipping invoices for accuracy and coordinate corrections with Accounting, if necessary
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in global logistics
  • Aptitude for calculations and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ERP system
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite; especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Written and oral German language skills a plus
  • HAZMAT certification a plus
