Stadler Rail Service UK are looking to recruit an experienced and analytical Finance Director with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the Finance Director will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, reviewing contract conditions, engaging with Group finance division, developing financial strategy, conducting business cases, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, managing a multi-site IT operation, and managing tax compliance. Your skills in sound financial planning coupled with your ability to direct financial assets will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, achieve financial targets, improve revenue, maintain a healthy financial position, and enhance relationships with our business partners.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The noteworthy Finance Director should harmonize financial operations with operational departments, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with both Group divisions and external partners.

Salary range: £70k - £90k depending upon experience and qualifications. Other company benefits are available upon successful completion of probationary period.
We are offering you the opportunity to help the UK operation expand to more than double its size in the next 3 years, and integrate a multi-site operation. Also, you will be able to contribute to developing the finance function. The Head Office is based in Liverpool, with current locations in Norwich and Newcastle, with developing sites in Glasgow and Cardiff. Later other projects in the UK will be part of your responsibility.
