HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Verification of specifications for our ETCS/ATP system integration project into the vehicle
- Review the requirements in relation to the intended environment and use
- Evaluate the conformity of the development process against the European standards including the assigned Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
- Verifying the correctness, consistency and appropriateness of test cases, executed tests and test tools
- Ensuring that all verification activities are performed according to EN standards
- Conducting installation inspections of the ETCS installation on site
- Provide approval and/or disagreement for the developed versions
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Completed technical training as an electrical or computer science engineer (ETH/TU/FH) or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in the railway industry
- Expertise in the area of validation, verification, functional safety or system engineering
- Knowledge of the relevant IEEE, UNISIG and EN standards (e.g. EN 50126, EN 50129)
- Ideally experience with train control systems
- Fluent in German and English
- Team player, independent, goal- and solution-orientated
