As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be a viable member of a team focused on building high-quality, state-of-the-art passenger trains.

Key Activities
• Accelerate your learning by receiving direct training and supervision from an industry expert
• Create train running simulations for different trains from the Stadler portfolio with Locsim
• Optimize the power split between the different energy sources on a train (diesel engine or fuel cell and batteries) using MATLAB
• Analyze current fleet operations in-service with the help of Stadler's proprietary Remote Diagnostic tool
• Analyze standards and support design efforts based on the requirements of American Railway Standards
• Support the team in their daily work
• Support and analysis of technical problems during train operation
Your profile
• Current Junior- or Senior-level student in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program• Experience with MATLAB
• Experience with schematic software and MS Office is a strong plus
• Strong interest in the railway industry
• Knowledge of, or interest in electrical systems for the rail vehicle industry
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong teamwork skills
• Fluent in English. German ability is a plus
