YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and debug printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) for power electronics applications.
- Develop embedded controller, gate driver, and power electronics circuits, from concept to production release.
- Perform schematic design, PCBA layout coordination, and design reviews using Altium Designer.
- Support system engineering activities for power electronics, including definition of electrical architectures and interfaces.
- Bring up and debug hardware during laboratory testing, prototype builds, and system integration phases.
- Plan and execute electrical testing, validation, and verification of PCBA designs.
- Analyze and resolve issues arising during production, commissioning, and in-field operation, including root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, system, and manufacturing engineers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, test reports, and design justifications.
- For senior engineers: act as a technical lead for PCBA development, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to design standards and architecture decisions.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
- Open to junior, mid-level, and senior engineers; task complexity and responsibility will match your experience.
- Experience or strong interest in PCBA design for power electronics, embedded controllers, and transistor drivers.
- Hands-on experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCBA development.
- Experience with Zuken E3 is a plus.
- Knowledge of hardware testing, debugging, and measurement techniques (e.g. oscilloscopes, power analyzers).
- Structured, analytical working style with a strong focus on quality and robustness.
- Team-oriented mindset with clear technical communication skills.
- Proficiency in English; German as a plus
