Your tasks

  • Create the technical architecture and design concepts for upcoming tenders and projects
  • Propose and present alternative designs to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare functional and operational description of the CBTC system
  • Prepare and / or review the system requirement specifications, headway simulation and interface specifications
  • Define / review a migration plan for brownfield projects
  • Review the subsystem requirement specifications
  • Support V&V team for test specifications of the system/subsystem interfaces
  • Support Integration and commissioning of systems in the field
  • Lead technical meeting with Customers and with internal stakeholders
  • Interface with internal and external Assessors for all the technical aspects of the system
  • Identify project technical risks and propose mitigation measures

Your profile

  • Completed technical education as electrical or computer science engineer ETH/TU/FH or comparable
  • At least 5 Years of professional experience in signalling product development or project execution
  • Familiar with railway signalling systems, functional and architecture of each subsystem.
  • Familiar with relevant CENELEC standards, writing and reviewing of technicaldocumentation, requirements management and configuration management
  • Experience in the development and certification of safety-relevant systems for railways is an advantage
  • Open, flexible, team player, and goal-oriented personality
  • Autonomous and proactive working method, strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
