Stadler Rail Service UK Limited (SRS UK) is a subsidiary of Stadler, Switzerland. SRS UK provides a train maintenance service for a growing number of clients in the UK. In the next few years over 100 new Stadler trains will be joining the English railway network which signifies the start of an exciting future for Stadler in the UK.

At our Gosforth Depot site in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are looking to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice. The role will report into the Fleet Manager and the successful candidate will complete a 2 year apprenticeship and carry out a wide variety of administrative duties across the various different departments.

Business Administration Apprentice - Newcastle

Your tasks

• Providing administrative support to the team, including but not limited to, taking
calls, document typing and processing, taking minutes and updating
documentation.
• Issuing paperwork, ensuring timely completion and return.
• Accurate filing of documentation for the department.
• Data entry tasks as per the needs of the department.
• Dealing with general queries on behalf of the department.
• Liaising with and greeting department visitors, when required.
Your profile

Essential:

• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
• Good word processing skills.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
• GCSE A-C in both English and Maths.
