How you can make an impact

As an Integration and Retrofit Specialist for Rail Safety Systems, you will be responsible for integrating and retrofitting central safety systems, including train control systems, train radio, and electronic journey recording, into existing rail vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project planning, conceptualization, and integration of safety systems into existing rail vehicles
  • Evaluation and implementation of requirements for ETCS systems
  • Development of safety solutions in collaboration with suppliers and competency centers
  • Support in providing evidence in projects
  • Preparation of offers for retrofitting train control systems and presenting solutions to customers
  • Planning and conducting system and type tests

How you will contribute

  • A degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience in project work and component design and testing
  • Experience in railway technology, radio technology, or train control systems is a plus
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with excellent coordination skills
  • Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in German and English (B2 level)
